A leading member of the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) has hit hard against government for the invitation of Ibrahim Mahama by the Economic and Organized Crimes Office (EOCO).
The brother of former president John Mahama was invited by EOCO over specific cheques he issues to the customs division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) at the ports to clear heavy duty equipment earlier imported into the country.
This development, the NPP firebrand argues is nothing but sheer witch-hunting. In an interview with Starr FM, Dr Nyaho Tamakloe reveals that his nephew, Ibrahim Mahama has committed no wrong stating that all businessmen do issue post-dated cheque and that was what Mr. Mahama did adding that there was nothing wrong with it.
