Former NDC Chairman Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has earned a PhD in Public Administration, Governance, and Leadership from GIMPA.
He was among five recipients at GIMPA's 24th Congregation, themed “Strengthening Partnership for Impact.”
Ofosu-Ampofo's thesis, “Democratic Politics and Political Vigilantism in Ghana’s Fourth Republic,” drew on data from 46 sources, including vigilante groups, CSOs, state security agencies, and beneficiaries, recommending a collaborative effort to combat political vigilantism.
Other PhD graduates included Thomas Akrofi, Elvis Kwame, Elvis Kwame Agyapong, Cornelius Yao Azumah, and Nathaniel Blankson, who presented research in various fields.
