The entourage that followed the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress Samuel Ofosu Ampofo to the Police headquarters has threatened to storm out of the place in 5 minutes if the officials of the Police CID do not attend to them.
Mr. Ofosu Ampofo has finally honoured the invitation of the Police CID over the leaked audio tape involving him today, but after over 3 hours of waiting at the Lobby at the Police headquarters, the Director-General of the police CID is yet to call them in for a discussion on the viral tape.
The General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah told Journalists they had very important business to do at the office as they’re preparing vigorously to unseat the Akufo-Addo government and therefore do not have the luxury of time to waste at the Police headquarters.
Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo went to the Police headquarters in the company of senior lawyers, some of whom, served in the erstwhile Mahama administration.
It comes after reports that the Police were seeking an arrest warrant to go after the NDC chair following his failure to report himself on two different occasions.
