The Okyenhene Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin, has expressed his deepest and heartfelt condolences to Dr Naadu Mills, the widow of the late President, Professor Evans Atta Mills who passed away on Tuesday.
The Okyenhene also expressed his sympathy to the members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the Government and the people of Ghana for the irredeemable loss on them.
A press release issued by the Chief of staff of the Okyehene said “President Mills was a man who dedicated his life to the progress and prosperity of the country”.
“The ‘Father for All’ and ‘Asomdwehene’ monikers that he earned will forever remain a tribute to his fidelity in the cause of social justice, peace and national cohesion,” the statement said.
It said it is the hope and prayer of the Okyenhene that President John Dramani Mahama would carry on with the good works and principled leadership of the late President John Evans Atta Mills.**
