The Communications Manager of the Ghana Gas Company, Ernest Owusu Bempah, has revealed that some important personalities may be behind the death of the late Prof. Atta Mills.
According to a report by GHIssues.com, Owusu Bempah stated that he believes some bigwigs in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are behind the death of the former politician and academician.
Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ programme, he said that “I believe the former President didn’t die a natural death, therefore there must be thorough investigations into his sudden death, so that proper sanctions are given to the culprits involved before it becomes a norm in this country.”
He went on to say that the late president isn’t the first to have lost his life in such a manner, and as such per usual practice, it is important to establish the cause of death.
He also noted that with the introduction of the office of the Special Prosecutor, some members of the previous government should ready themselves, as they they would have to answer some questions very soon.
This, he said, is because of the corrupt practices they were engaged in whilst they were in government.
