The Majority in Ghana's Parliament has accused Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), of disrupting parliamentary proceedings by influencing the Minority Caucus.
This accusation follows Asiedu Nketiah's call for NDC MPs to boycott emergency parliamentary sessions, alleging they would serve corrupt interests.
Alex Tetteh Djornobuah, the Second Deputy Majority Whip, criticized the NDC Chairman, asserting that his directives hinder the legislative process.
Djornobuah emphasized the need to prioritize parliamentary business for the benefit of Ghanaians, noting that the Speaker has the authority to call MPs back to session when necessary.
The Majority insists they remain committed to fulfilling their parliamentary duties despite the NDC's stance.
