Amenfi Central MP Peter Yaw Kwakye-Ackah has officially withdrawn his independent bid for the 2024 parliamentary election.
In a statement dated November 18, he cited a High Court and Electoral Commission ruling affirming the NDC candidate's eligibility as a key factor in his decision.
Kwakye-Ackah thanked party elders for their guidance, emphasizing the need to prioritize NDC unity over personal ambitions.
"I have decided to withdraw my independent candidature to support the party's success," he stated.
Reaffirming his commitment to the NDC, he expressed optimism for the party’s victory in Amenfi Central and nationwide in 2024.
