Police arrest 47-year-old man for inflicting machete wounds on his son

Police in Twifo Hemang, Central Region, have arrested 47-year-old Yaw Ansah for allegedly attacking his 7-year-old son with a machete after the boy refused an errand.

Eyewitnesses report that Ansah attempted to cut off the boy’s right wrist, severely injuring him.

The child was taken to Twifo Praso Government Hospital for treatment, and neighbors revealed that Ansah frequently assaults his three children.

One witness stated that Ansah previously harmed the boy by chopping off a finger and urged police to take action to ensure justice.
