Pentagon, a dormitory block at the National Police Training School at Tesano in Accra on Sunday dawn got burnt reducing property running into several thousands of cedi into ashes.
Although no casualties were recorded MyNewsGh.com understands that fire service personnel took several hours before they were able to douse the inferno that consumed bedding of officers who were seen running for their lives.
It is believed that power surge accounted for the fire that caused extensive damage to the structure built over a decade ago.
