The Accra Regional Police Command of the Ghana Police Service led by DCOP Frederick Adu Anim has visited the family of Inspector Kate Abban, who died together with her three children in a gas explosion.
The officer had returned from church to prepare food for her family on Sunday, January 5, when the explosion occurred.
She died four days later at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, where she was immediately rushed to.
Her children could not also survive. The last child died on Sunday, January 12.
The top administration of the Command was at the residence to commiserate with the family and have at first hand funeral arrangements.
