Private legal practitioner Justice Abdulai has commented on Speaker Alban Bagbin's decision to declare four parliamentary seats vacant, shifting the majority from the NPP to the NDC.
With the NDC now holding 136 seats to the NPP's 135, Abdulai believes this change will force the government to cooperate more with Parliament.
He noted that this shift in power could lead to increased collaboration between the executive branch and opposition MPs, especially as the government no longer has the numbers to push through decisions unilaterally.
