Prevent and condemn illegal pressure on judiciary – AG urges Bar Association

Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame has called on the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) to actively protect the judiciary from unlawful pressures.

Speaking at the GBA executives' swearing-in on November 4 in Accra, Dame urged the Bar to "prevent and condemn each and every act of illegal pressure on the Judiciary."

He also cautioned against individuals who harm the judiciary’s reputation without cause, stressing that the legal community’s role is vital to preserving the "purity, dignity, and majesty" of Ghana’s courts.
