Printing Notices of Poll begins today, not Ballot Papers – EC clarifies

The Electoral Commission (EC) has clarified that ballot paper printing for the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections has not yet begun, addressing public concerns.

In a statement, the EC confirmed that the printing of Notices of Poll will start on October 11, 2024, while the printing of ballot papers will only commence after ballot statistics are shared with candidates, political parties, and printing houses.

The EC assured the public of its commitment to transparency and reaffirmed its promise to deliver credible, free, and fair elections in December 2024.
