At the 15th MTN Pulse Africa Transform Summit in Kumasi, Tamale South MP Haruna Iddrisu urged politicians to address public concerns, using Kenya’s recent protests as a cautionary example.
He stressed the need for improvements in infrastructure, such as roads, water, electricity, and education, and warned against ignoring citizens' aspirations.
With the December 2024 elections approaching, he encouraged the youth to speak up for the nation's welfare, regardless of political affiliation.
Iddrisu emphasized that it is the duty of elected officials, including presidents and MPs, to address these issues.
