A private legal practitioner, Hon. Joe Aboagye Debrah, has accused the lawyer representing disgruntled Electoral Commission (EC) staff of wanting the EC boss impeached due to a vandetta he harbors.

According to Lawyer Joe Debrah Aboagye, the petition issued by EC staff demanding the impeachment of Madam Charlotte Osei is a "misadventure" and tantamount to "treachery". He therefore advised his fellow legal practitioner Maxwell Opoku-Agyemang - lawyer for disgruntled EC staff who made the petition - to let go of this case while the case is still at its infancy.

As it turns out Mr. Joe Aboagye Debrah, Madam Charlotte Osei, and Mr. Maxwell Opoku-Agyemang all knew each other from the their time spent at the Ghana School of Law. The trio were also called to the bar in the same year, which was 1994.

In a Facebook post that seems to be directed at Mr. Opoku-Agyemang, Mr. Debrah confesses to having seen the much reported petition and - in no ambiguous - laments Mr. Opoku-Agyemang's involvement in the petition.

Mr. Debrah categorically expresses that according to him, there is no way Mr. Opoku-Agyemang could possibly win the legal tussle.

"In this misadventure, you won't win. Even if you win, you will lose. Whatever your motivation, it is not too late to bail out," writes Mr. Debrah.

According to Mr. Debrah, there is no outcome in the entire issue of the petition where Mr. Opoku-Agyemang comes out on top. Goes on to say that the entire issue "is a pox on the Class of '94".

Maxwell Opoku-agyemang, I have read the Petition. I weep for you. I weep for me. I weep for us. In this misadventure, you won't win. Even if you win, you will lose.

Whatever your motivation, it is not too late to bail out. This act of yours smells bad on all of us. It is a pox on the Class of '94. It is an act of treachery beneath you and beneath us. But if you will persist in this decades-long vendetta, I have to say I can't stand with you.

I am a professional but I won't stab my brother or sister in the back. You won't win this. Even if you win, you'd lose. Heads you lose, tails you lose.

Your action suckz. Your motives ...? I have fielded calls all day from our mates struggling to understand your action. Does Frema approve? Lord have mercy on us all. Lawyer Joe Aboagye Debrah
