Proponents of the anti-LGBTQ bill have planned to protest against the Chief Justice on August 21, 2024, accusing her of delaying the bill's transmission to the President.
The Supreme Court deferred a ruling on injunctions related to the bill until the final judgement day.
Lead sponsor, Samuel Nartey George, emphasized the protest would be peaceful, urging the Chief Justice to expedite the process.
George stressed that Ghanaians simply want the case to be heard and a judgement delivered.
