Residents block Accra-Tema motorway after fatal hit-and-run incident

A hit-and-run incident on the Accra-Tema motorway caused a major traffic disruption Thursday evening, resulting in a complete standstill.

Eyewitnesses reported that a vehicle hit and killed a young girl, and she was subsequently struck by another car.

Outraged by the tragedy, the local community blocked the road near the Interplast area, preventing traffic flow until authorities arrived.
