SML/GRA deal a clear example of create, loot and share – Sam George

Ningo-Prampram MP Sam Nartey George has criticized the contentious contract between the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and Strategic Mobilisation Limited (SML), labeling it a "create, loot, and share" scheme.

On JoyNews' Newsfile, he accused former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, asserting he likely sanctioned the deal and is avoiding accountability.

Sam George described the GRA as a "crime scene" and called for its reconstitution due to corruption.

President Akufo-Addo released a KPMG audit revealing SML owes GRA GH¢31.88 million in unpaid taxes, with the contract lacking approval from the Public Procurement Authority and Parliament, sparking public outrage and demands for prosecution.
