North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has disclosed new evidence suggesting President Akufo-Addo’s daughters are linked to Service Ghana Auto Group Limited, implicated in a controversial $34.9 million ambulance spare parts deal.
Ablakwa alleges the company, connected to the President's daughters Gyankroma and Edwina Akufo-Addo through business partner Stephen Okoro, received preferential treatment.
The Auditor-General’s report cited procurement breaches and inflated invoices.
Ablakwa has petitioned the Special Prosecutor to investigate possible corruption and prevent further payments.
He claims Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta's approval of the deal was motivated by family interests.
