North Tongu MP, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has revealed links between President Akufo-Addo’s daughters and Service Ghana Auto Group Limited, involved in a controversial $34.9 million ambulance spare parts deal.
Ablakwa, who has petitioned the Office of the Special Prosecutor, shared documents indicating favoritism due to this relationship. According to him, the company received $10 million in February, despite Auditor-General findings of illegal engagement and procurement breaches.
Ablakwa's investigation shows close business ties between the President’s daughters and a company director.
He believes familial interests motivated Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta’s approval of the deal and urges halting further payments amid ongoing investigations.
