The Ahafo Region Minister and Asunafo South District Chief Executive (DCE) have broken ground for the construction of deplorable town roads in Kwapong and Asufufuo.
The roads, spanning 800km in Asufufuo and 2.2km in Kwapong, aim to address challenges faced by residents during dry and rainy seasons.
The DCE, Frank Aduse Poku, highlighted the severe impact of flooding due to poor drainage.
The contractor is expected to complete the work by the end of the year, ensuring safe travel for residents.
The sod-cutting ceremony was attended by chiefs and residents, marking a significant step towards improving infrastructure in the communities.
