Some major roadblocks in Accra, police outlines alternative routes

The Ghana Police Service has announced road closures and diversions in the Greater Accra Region from September 21 to 24, 2024, as part of special operations.

Key affected areas include routes around AU Roundabout, 37 Roundabout, and Independence Avenue.

Traffic from Central Business District (CBD) to Liberation Road will be diverted, with alternative routes provided via Ridge Roundabout, Cantonments, and Burma Camp.

Motorists are advised to follow the diversions, while pedestrians should avoid the AU Roundabout to 37 Roundabout stretch.

Special arrangements will be made for access to 37 Military Hospital and nearby locations.
