Agya Koo born Kofi Adu has alleged that politicians deliberately compromise justice, a move that can spark violence especially during elections.
The popular Kumawood actor made this remark when he went to cast his vote at the Bantama Ahenfie, Florida, polling station at the Bantama Sub-Metro in Kumasi.
He lamented that he cannot understand why some persons do not cherish peace.
He said “If one does not cherish peace, I wonder which kind of person he or she is… as we all know, Ghana’s Coat of Arm sounds strongly the message of justice in its motto “ Freedom and Justice” but some politicians deliberately tamper with justice and when this happens definitely peace will be compromised” he fumed.
Agya Koo who was among the earliest people to go to the polling station indicated that, electorates are eager to vote but assured that no violence will emerge at the polling station.
“I was here at 4am and the first in the queue. I will cast my vote and wait to observe the voting process… I know that the people of Bantama are decent and will not cause any commotion, so I do not expect any violence here” he assured.
“I believe that if justice prevails, by the close of the day, Ghana will triumph and peace will be upheld” he added.
