Franklin Cudjoe, President of IMANI Africa, has voiced concerns over Ghana’s economic struggles and the government’s failure to support citizens effectively.
Citing an Afrobarometer survey, Cudjoe noted that 82% of Ghanaians feel the country is on the wrong path, slightly down from 87% in 2022.
He criticized the NPP government’s unfulfilled promises and emphasized that citizens need genuine support, not campaign slogans.
The survey also revealed that 78% of respondents believe economic conditions have worsened under the current administration, with inflation, a depreciating cedi, and IMF negotiations intensifying the challenges for households.
