The Ashanti Regional Security Council (ARSC) has issued a stern warning against using land guards to resolve land disputes in Kumasi and surrounding areas.
In a statement dated June 20, the ARSC expressed concerns over the rise in illegal activities by land guards.
The Council advised residents to follow legal procedures for land disputes and warned that those hiring land guards would face prosecution.
The land guards themselves will also face legal consequences.
The ARSC urged public compliance to maintain peace in the region, emphasizing the importance of lawful conflict resolution.
