Nana Obiri Boahen, the Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has said that the calls by the Minority group in Parliament for the disclosure of Dr Bawumia's health condition is insensitive.
He argues that the demands of the Minority is irrelivant and asked that they should be "humane" and compassionate to the Vice President.
He stated “Courtesy and good manners demand that if somebody is ill we wish them well for a healthy recovery”.
Mr Boahene is shocked over the fact that the Minority is not hoping for the speedy recovery of Dr Bawumia and are not requesting that the government grant him the deserved medical care.
Nana Boahen was reacting to some members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in parliament who are calling for a full disclosure of the ailment that has forced Dr Bawumia to seek medical leave in the UK.
