TaTU members succeed in their demand for appointment of internal vice chancellor

The Unionized Associations of Tamale Technical University (TaTU) have successfully secured the appointment of an internal Vice Chancellor less than 24 hours after issuing a strong statement.

The unions, including TUTAG, TUSAAG, TUAAG, and TUWAG, demanded the appointment of a new Vice Chancellor from within the institution, emphasizing the unique expertise and dedication of current professors.

Their demand was met with the appointment of Prof. Ibn Bashiru Ibrahim Imoro Saeed as the new Vice Chancellor, effective July 1, 2024.

The unions expressed satisfaction with the outcome, highlighting the significance of internal leadership in driving the university's development.
