Some Youth at Anyinam, a mining community in Obuasi feel cheated following what they describe as unfair treatment by the AngloGold Ashanti company.
The youth says unemployment in the area remains high despite assurances that the locals would have job opportunities should the mines revamp.
According to the Organiser of a group calling itself Justice for Anyinam, Amos Acheampong said their farmlands and other valuables were taken over by the mining company as part of the deal, however, joblessness still remains prime in the community.

Mr. Acheampong revealed that his outfit would soon organise a massive demonstration to register their displeasure.
