Nana Boadi Amponim Obodede III, the Krontihene of Akyem Asoum, has sharply criticized Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, questioning his ability to fulfill promises amid the worsening economy.
Speaking during a community engagement with NDC Presidential Candidate John Mahama in Kade, Obodede called Bawumia, once seen as a "game-changer," a "ball boy" due to his failure to address economic challenges.
He highlighted that Bawumia's focus on digitization overlooks the groundwork laid by Mahama's administration with fiber optic cables.
Obodede also accused the current government of failing to deliver on promises and lacking transparency.
Mahama’s visit to Kade was part of his Eastern Region campaign tour.
