Although the project is still on track for its September completion, these thefts are affecting progress and safety. The resident engineer has highlighted the impact of stolen items on the project’s quality.

With recurring issues of malfunctioning streetlights in Accra, the consultants are calling for a nationwide effort to secure construction sites and prevent further theft.
