NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama has reiterated his call for the New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to directly address pressing economic issues facing Ghana.
Speaking at a rally in Savelugu, Mahama criticized Bawumia for deflecting with a list of 50 counter-questions in response to Mahama's initial inquiries about the economy.
Mahama highlighted specific concerns, including the rising exchange rate, escalating national debt, soaring inflation, government borrowing from the Bank of Ghana, and Bawumia's focus on digitalization over economic challenges.
He urged Bawumia to answer these questions directly, emphasizing their significance to ordinary Ghanaians.
