Bernard Mornah, flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC), has sharply criticized the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana, labeling it a “very lazy” institution after he and ten other presidential aspirants were disqualified from the upcoming elections.
Speaking on JoyNews, he expressed disappointment with the EC's management of the nomination process, arguing it failed to adequately inform candidates about application requirements.
Mornah contended that the EC's actions undermine electoral integrity and discourage potential candidates, citing errors in nomination forms as further evidence of the Commission's negligence.
He has filed a lawsuit against the EC, confident of his chances to appear on the ballot.
