Traffic resumes at 37 Roundabout after #OccupyJulorbiHouse protest

Traffic flow has resumed at the 37 Roundabout and surrounding roads after the Democracy Hub's #OccupyJulorbiHouse demonstration, which led to the police blocking key routes, including access to Jubilee House.

The protests, which aimed to address illegal mining and government accountability, caused disruptions in the area but the roadblocks have now been lifted.

Oliver Barker-Vormawor, leader of the Democracy Hub, has been arrested in connection with the protests, alongside 42 others.

Despite heavy police presence, Monday's protest saw only two more arrests, as the streets remained largely empty.
