A Lecturer at the Political Science Department, University of Ghana, Dr. Alidu Seidu, has commended Ghanaians for chalking up yet another success in electoral history.
Dr. Alidu said despite the challenges that cropped up, all actors proved their mettle and handled the exercise satisfactorily.
Dr. Seidu, however, noted that the challenges must be well documented and thoroughly discussed to forestall any future occurrence.
Dr. Alidu also touched on the transition process.
He was worried about the process so far, saying the outgoing and incoming administrations must show more commitment and transparency in their dealings.
