UDS student stabbed to death on campus

A pharmacy student at the University for Development Studies (UDS), Mohammed Zakiu Wunpini, has been found dead after being stabbed multiple times on campus.

The tragic incident occurred on the evening of September 25, 2024, in an uncompleted building near Citadel and Kumbung hostels.

Initial reports suggest that Zakiu may have been attacked and robbed, as his motorcycle and phone are missing.

The university community is in shock, and authorities are working with police on the investigation.

Zakiu’s final funeral rites will be held today, September 30, at Gumani near Oasis Restaurant.
