The US Embassy in Ghana has introduced a new pre-screening process for immigrant visa applicants starting September 2024.
Applicants must attend a pre-screening appointment 3-4 weeks before their visa interview.
During this appointment, required documents will be reviewed, and any missing ones will be identified.
The goal is to ensure applicants are fully prepared for their visa interview.
Those who miss the pre-screening or do not have all necessary documents will need to reschedule their interview.
The Embassy hopes this new process will speed up visa processing.
