'Untruthful' Menzgold PRO says he never said NAM 1 was traumatized

It is apparent that the man hired by Menzgold Ghana Limited and its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Nana Appiah Mensah alias NAM 1 to lead the charge in lying to their customers and the generality of Ghanaians would stop at nothing to throw dust in the eyes of people.

The man, Nii Armah Amarteifio, who since the Menzgold debacle unfolded has been doing all the dirty work for NAM 1 and his ilk, blinded by his own foolhardiness, went to town once again to spew lies, ostensibly to buy more time from the aggrieved customers who have sworn thunder and brimstone to retrieve their funds, as long as NAM 1 and his family lives.

It may be recalled that MyNewsGh.com reported on Thursday that, Menzgold had suspended payment, because Nana Appiah Mensah and his son had been “traumatized” following a march on his private residence by some aggrieved customers of Menzgold who had gone to Trassaco Valley to demand payment of their monies on Wednesday.

The said publication was based on the very words of the liar, Nii Armah Amarteifio who had told Okay FM’s Kwame Nkrumah Tikese in an interview that, Menzgold had suspended payment to its customers in the “zero category”, whose turn it was on the company’s payment schedule, due to the disturbances at NAM 1’s house the day before, because the “boss and his son have been traumatized”.

As usual of him, he contacted the editor of this portal, Stephen Zoure and vehemently denied ever saying anything of the sort that the publication put out and accused him of “just creating panic within the customers” so that they would insult and ridicule his boss; he, therefore, demanded the audio file based on which our story was carried, since what he had from Okay FM was contrary to the attributions of our story.

He also said the publication was to cause traffic to this portal “at the expense of people’s reputation”.

He would later go to his official Facebook page and post absolute lies and call our editor all sort of names, just to save the face he has already lost, when Mr Zoure asked him for some time to furnish him with the audio file he so demanded.



“I have seen this false headline on various platforms.

Usually, I let it slide.

I have come to appreciate that if you don’t tread cautiously and manage these things well you, you become an enemy to most of your colleague journalists.

The quest to generate traffic and make capital out of falsity and sensationalism supersedes journalism standards and conscionable traits.

Immediately, I saw the story, I called the editor and I told him I never said what the headline is attributing to me. He said, oh really? I said, Yes! He said his boys told him I said that, and he promised to send the audio. I said ok.

For almost 1 hour now, I am still waiting for the audio. You can look at the WhatsApp chat I had with him.

This kind of truculent behavior is becoming too much with some of our bloggers or tabloids editors.

It is doltishness of this nature that irks me sometimes. Such dullard and clumsy fools parading themselves as bloggers and editors of useless tabloids just get up and put up any headline just for their selfish interest.

These editors and bloggers are becoming an embarrassment to intellectual acquisition. If you want people to celebrate your stupidity looks elsewhere Sir”, he posted.
