Thieves targeted Wanderlust Ghana during their historic road trip from Accra to Dubai, breaking into their vehicle in Krefeld, Germany, on September 26.
CEO Kwabena Peprah shared the unfortunate news on Facebook, revealing that a window was smashed, and valuable items, including his wallet and team member Kwame's passport, were stolen.
The team promptly reported the incident to local police.
Peprah expressed concerns that this could jeopardize Kwame's participation in the trip due to the difficulty of reissuing necessary visas.
The ambitious 30,000-kilometre journey, covering three continents and 30 countries, kicks off on September 30 and will last three months.
