The Ghana Police Service disagrees with the protest location near Jubilee House, citing security concerns, and suggested alternative venues.

However, the Democracy Hub rejected these alternatives, deeming them unsafe after consulting security experts.

The group requested police documents justifying the restrictions, but the police refused.

The Democracy Hub insists on its right to peaceful protest against illegal mining and will hold a press conference to update the public on the demonstration's logistics.
