The National Peace Council has committed to ongoing dialogue with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to address the party's concerns ahead of the upcoming elections.
This follows NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia's announcement that the party will not sign any peace declaration, citing the ineffectiveness of past agreements.
Reverend Ernest Adu Gyamfi, Chairman of the Peace Council, emphasized that the NDC’s stance does not necessarily indicate a risk of violence.
He reassured that the Council is open to dialogue and has already arranged a meeting to address the NDC's concerns.
