The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has warned that it will resume its strike if the government fails to meet its demands.

CETAG spokesperson Dr. Dominic Owusu expressed concerns about the government's previous neglect of agreements when strikes were called off.

The association ended its eight-week strike after receiving assurances from Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and other government bodies.

CETAG emphasized that it will monitor the implementation of their demands closely and expects teachers to return to classrooms on Monday, August 26, to resume lecturing.
