The Deputy Commissioner of Operations at the Electoral Commission (EC), Samuel Tetteh, has assured political parties that ample time will be given for presidential aspirants to file nominations, preventing disqualifications due to time constraints, as seen in 2020.
Speaking at the National Peace Council's forum, Tetteh stated, "We are extending the days of nomination to resolve any form-related challenges before finalizing the ballot."
He also mentioned that the EC has procured 90% of election materials, with only ballot printing remaining, highlighting the Commission's commitment to transparency at all stages.
