Vice Presidential candidate of the All People’s Congress (APC) Emmanuel Carl Bartels says the party’s chances of winning the December 7 general elections is very high.
The former First Vice National Chairman of the party was unveiled as running mate to Dr. Hassan Ayariga at the party’s headquarters last Friday.
This will be APC’s first elections since its formation in February this year by the former PNC flagbearer, who contested in the 2012 general elections.
The 64-year-old accountant from the Central Region and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant in both Ghana and Nigeria in an interview with 3FM remained adamant the APC stands a good chance of winning the 2016 general elections.
He says the sole aim of the party is to unseat the NDC in the upcoming general elections.
“The two of us are accountants with an accounting background and we are one-minded in virtually all things regarding the management of affairs because it’s a critical area of study of the accountant”.
According to Mr. Bartels, accountants are very good managers “so if you have accountants managing things, you expect to get very good results”.
“We are going to manage the affairs of the party with the sole aim of unseating the NDC and to prevent other political parties to come in as the government of this nation.
“We are going to win this election by the grace of God and we are going to surprise Ghanaians”.
