We still consider ourselves Majority – Ayariga insists

The Minority in Parliament claims to hold the majority position after Speaker Alban Bagbin's decision to declare four parliamentary seats vacant.

This declaration followed a motion by Minority Leader, Dr. Cassiel Forson, concerning MPs who switched parties or ran as independents.

Despite a Supreme Court stay of execution on Bagbin’s ruling, the Minority insists the Speaker’s decision stands and shifts the balance of power in their favor.

The standoff has added uncertainty to legislative proceedings, with both sides awaiting further developments. The Minority plans to return to their constituencies, maintaining their majority stance.
