The Ghanaian government has invested approximately GH₵10 billion in the road sector since January 2024, as announced by Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam during the mid-year budget review.
This investment aims to improve transportation and boost economic growth.
Dr. Amin Adam highlighted progress on key infrastructure projects, including the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Ofankor-Nsawam Road, Keta Water Supply, and several interchanges.
Completed projects include Prempeh I International Airport in Kumasi and Yakubu Tali International Airport in Tamale.
