Yeboah Dame must be sacked; he has brought AG’s office into gross disrepute – Dafeamekpor

South Dayi MP Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor has called for the dismissal of Attorney-General Godfred Yeboah Dame following the release of a 16-minute recording by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The recording allegedly features Dame discussing with Richard Jakpa, the third accused in the ambulance procurement case, to falsely implicate Minority Leader Cassiel Ato Forson.

The NDC claims the tape reveals Dame coaching Jakpa on his court testimony. NDC Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia stated the recording showed an attempt to influence Jakpa's testimony.

However, NPP legal practitioner Frank Davies disputed this, citing repetitions, overlaps, and potential manipulation in the tape.
