Joyce Bawah Mogtari, aide to former President John Dramani Mahama, has criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for what she describes as a self-deceptive approach to the 2024 elections.
She responded to claims by NPP’s Joseph Osei Owusu, who asserted that internal research projects an NPP victory.
Mogtari argued that only NPP-conducted polls show such outcomes, while all credible studies forecast a win for Mahama and a strong National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary majority.
She highlighted consistent research since 2022 showing Mahama leading Bawumia and suggested NPP struggles in key constituencies like Atwima Mponua and Offinso North.
