Nana Akufo-Addo must stop acting like a president because it is only God who knows who will be elected president in the December 7 polls, President John Mahama has said.
Addressing a mini rally at Ayirebi in the Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency of the Eastern Region, Mr Mahama said “Power rests in the hands of God. He decides who becomes a leader. So, when I see somebody carrying himself as an already elected President, I say if God says he won’t make you a President, you can move heaven and earth you will still not be President.”
“Let Thy Will Be Done”, Mr Mahama said, adding: “As we speak, God has made up His mind already. He knows the winner of the elections already. As I always say, when I wake up in the morning, my prayer is let thy will be done. That’s the greatest prayer.”
Mr Mahama is running for a second and last four-year term of office. So far, he and three other candidates, including his arch-rival Nana Akufo-Addo of the main opposition New Patriotic Party have been cleared by the EC to run.
