John Krugu, NPP parliamentary candidate for Zebilla, has voiced concerns over the Attorney General’s withdrawal of an appeal to reinstate an arrest warrant for an individual claiming the title of Bawku Naaba.
He emphasized that the Kusaug area has seen relative peace, primarily due to the government’s previous stance supporting the recognized Bawku Naaba, Asigri Abugrago Azoka II.
Krugu believes the appeal’s withdrawal could destabilize the region, leading him to temporarily suspend his campaign until further explanation is provided. He clarified that his campaign suspension is not a withdrawal from the race, despite rumors to the contrary.
