The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has recorded 86 new cases of coronavirus.
This takes the tLly to a total of 627, as of April 17, according to the NCDC.
The statement reads that "Eighty-six new cases of #COVID19 have been reported;
According to the NCDC, 70 of the cases were in Lagos, seven in FCT, three apiece in Katsina and Akwa Ibom while one apiece were recorded in Jigawa, Bauchi and Borno.
The report added that "As at 11:50 pm 19th April there are 627 confirmed cases of #OVID19 reported in Nigeria.

"One case previously reported in Kano, has been transferred to Jigawa state.
"Therefore, the total number of confirmed cases in Kano is 36 as at the 19th of April 2020."
